January and Avery Sage Darley

Bryce's job at LM WindPower did not last long, thankful that we hadn't bought a house there and thankful we won't be living in the COLD.

Bryce (Grandpa Darley) was able to drive to Minot and be there when Avery was born. Avery was born before Loralee (Grandma) even left WI on the "AmTrak" train to help out and enjoy Buck's first. Not long after grandma's arrival, Grandpa headed back to Grand Forks, ND to pack up. Buck drove over a few days later and helped him load up for his long Cold drive back to WI.

Avery Sage Darley: Born January 19, 2011 in Minot, North Dakota.

Loralee is grateful for the time she was able to spent with Buck, Ashton, Sariah and Avery.

Avery is a bright and alert baby and shares features of both Buck and Ashton.

The weather wasn't to bad and Loralee was able to get out and take Sariah on a few walks.

Loralee stayed for 2 1/2 weeks while Bryce was back in WI spending sun-up to sun-down on the internet looking up jobs and sending out resumes.

Dad Darley, Reed Bryce Darley

Bryce's career at Harley-Davidson Motor came to a close this year with the closing of the Capital Drive plant, targeted to close the end of December. He researched some stable companies and applied to work with them. The two that he chose were mines and wind power. The mining company flew him and Loralee out to interview and look at housing. He also interviewed at their corporate head quarters in New Jersey. He was able to spend some time with his grandchildren and had fun going swimming and movie (Toy Story 3).

He and Loralee also drove to an interview with a wind turbine company in North Dakota. Bryce liked the area because is close to the famous Devil Lake, which is know for the 14" perch and it was closer to Buck/Ashton in Minot, ND, which he and Loralee went on to visit after the interview. Bryce has accepted a position with LM WindPower and has presently relocated there leaving Loralee to sell their WI home. He is sad in leaving their WI home because Jon (our son-in-law) just upgraded our kitchen counter tops with Corian and did a terriffic job. But mostly leaving their good friends, neighbors, ward members and especially Danielle/Jon.

Trying to be patient with the uncertainty in her life, mostly Bryce's job situation and what to do next in her life. She's been cleaning residentical homes up until carpel tunnel surgery on her right hand, surgery on her left hand scheduled for the first week in Jan and the move.
To keep busy she's been doing some packing, reading, practicing the piano, driving over to Danielle's in Grafton and taking Maverick (her English Yellow Lab puppy) out for potty break and walk. Then at night she quits while watching TV, crib and twin. She is ready for whenever the next grandchild comes. And of course being envolved in church activities.

Shanna and Family

J.R.: Graduated from his medical residency program in July. He is now working at a private practice, specializing in nutrition. He loves his new job and his family loves having him home finally.

Shanna: is still having a great time staying home with the kids and is becoming quite a good cook.

Karlie (6): started kindergarten, which she loves, and comes home everyday excited with many stories to tell. She also started dance class. She loves riding a two wheel bike, and has become a very good reader.

Nathan (4): has started another year of preschool and has become a great little reader, too. He's my little helper around the house, and he loves things clean and organized.

Gavin (2): has started to run, jump, talk, dance sing and best of all we are working on using the potty, HEY!!

Buck, Ashton, baby and Sariah.

Buck: graduated in April with his RN. He now works for "Trinity Hospital" as an ICU nurse in Minot, ND and spends all his free time hunting all things with wings!

Ashton: took an opportunity to be a manager for "The Buckle" and opened a brand new store for them, which what took their little family to ND. She is officially carrying a basketball.

Baby: hopefully spending her last month in hiding, Mom hopes she'll stay in that long!

Sariah: 2 year old Springer Spaniel has discovered her love for snow that doesn't melt. Going potty has never been so fun! However, her feet do tend to hurt after walking in the snow and cold with Buck hunting.

Colt and Sally

Colt: Finished up all he could at BYU-ID land is now working at "The Cash Store" while he waits to go on to Pharmaceutical school. So far he has recieved an offer from USN and is waiting to hear from ISU. They have to decide by the end of March. School at either place starts in August.

Sally: Graduated in education in April from BYU-ID and is a kindergarten teacher at a school in Pocatello, ID where they now live. She teaches a total of 50 students and they are split into 2 classes of 25. She is also the first councilor in the LDS Primary Presidency.

Danielle and Jon Ward

Jon: is still working at GFM Miller building and installing counter tops. He is also still in collage at MATC going towards dentistry. Jon took a fishing trip to Canada with his friend Casey over the summer. Jon was just called as the 1st. counseler in the Elder's Quorum.

Danielle: is still working a JPMorgan Chase, as a supervisor in the loss mitigation department. She is also still in college and just received her association degree from University Wisconsin Washington County (UWWC), she will be taking the next semester off to fiqure out what she wants to do and then transferring to UWM. She took a trip with her Mom to NJ to visit Shanna/Family.

This past October they had a wonderful addition to their little family. His name is Maverick and he's a Yellow English Lab puppy, that is full of energy.

All three are now living in Grafton, just two towns straight east from Danielle's Mom and Jon's Parents. But are thinking about purshasing a house.

They are part of the Port Washington LDS Branch and love it.

Through our Savior's teachings given to us through scripture and modern day prophets,
we have our "road maps" back to our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Starting with Trevor, now Elder Darley: In February he earning the rank of "Eagle Scout" in the Boys Scout ( he got his paperwork turned in, the night before his 18th birthday) you can see more by visiting our old blog. He worked full-time at "Quincy Resources" up until he left on his next adventure. A LDS mission, serving in the Colorado, Colorado Springs Mission. And yes it's the same mission his brother, Buck served in for the last part of his mission. In fact Elder Trevor Darley first area almost was in Buck's ward in Pueblo, CO where Buck presently lives, but the mission president was reminded that his brother was living in that ward, so he was sent 15 mins. north to Fountain.

Next Danielle, now Mrs. Jon Ward: Her and Jon were married for "Time and all Eternity" August 14, 2009 in the Nauvoo LDS Temple. they made their first home just south of both parents in Menominee Falls, WI and with that they moved out of our ward boundaries and into another LDS Ward. Danielle and Jon are both going to school. Danielle works full-time at Chase Bank in Milwaukee and Jon works two jobs one with the neighbor( in between his dad and us) in making and installing counter tops and cleaning offices at night with his mom.

Then there is Jake: He goes to school at BYU in Provo, UT, that is in between going to all the BYU football/basketball games, lol. He was just made full-time as a financial analyst at a software company

Now Colt and Sally: both are going to BYU-ID in Rexburg, ID with Sally finishing up her education degree in the spring of 2010. Colt is applying at pharmaceutical schools. They both worked for a landscaping company over the summer and now are managers for the apartment complex in which they live.

And yes there is Buck and Ashton: They live in Pueblo, CO. The past spring 2009 Ashton earned her bachelor degree in "Business Management". Both sets of parents were able to fly out for this awesome event and we had a great time. She is now training to be a manager for "Buckle". Buck passed his boards for LPN and is working on his RN nursing degree which will be accomplished in the spring of 2010. They also added "Sariah", a springer spaniel puppy to their family, she was a graduation gift for Ashton.

We can't forget Shanna, J.R., Karlie, Nathan and Gavin: Shanna is busy with the kids while J.R. finishes up he last year of residency in Flemington, NJ and guess what they will be staying in NJ. J.R. has excepted a job at a clinic in Flemington. Good for them but we were hoping they'd get something a little closer. Shanna and kids did fly out to WI for 3 weeks to party with grandma/grandpa and we had FUN!

And last but not least is Mom and Dad: Now "Empty Nester's" . Bryce is still hanging by a thread at Harley-Davidson and is our LDS ward's Executive Secretary. Loralee cleans residential homes, teaches the CTR 8 class in primary (our LDS ward's children's Sunday school) and was (was released today 12-20.2009, from both) the ward's Girls 8-9 Activity Day leader.

Trevor's Long Day

Bryce had us up and out the door by 3:00 am, with two stops, one to pick up Danielle and another to drop my car off at H-D (so Bryce could go right to work after). He left early becuase he thought there would be road construction, but there wasn't any. So we got there before check-in had opened up.

Loralee N Darley Trevor has arrived and is eating with Jake, then to the MTC. The fligth story is that his flight from Milwaukee was 45mins. late so he missed he's connecting flight in Denver to S.L.S., then when he finally got on a flight he sat on the runway for an hour or so while they deicyed the runway.

Jake J. DarleySide note, Trevor told me that he was able to spark up a conversation with a Navajo from New Mexico about the church. He left him with a BoM and a pass along card!
